I purchased my Game Ready in 2000 and have never regretted it! The Game Ready is ice and compression without ever getting the leg wet. It has a reservoir for ice/water and pumps the cold water to the sleeve on the leg, and pulls it away so there is a consistent cold thru the treatment session.
In addition, it offers compression, much like when you get your blood pressure taken, a sleeve fills with air and cycles thru your desired pressures to help pump fluid out of the limb.
We’ve used the Game Ready on Bows, Suspensory injuries, Surgical sites (as soon as 24 hours after surgery as the leg can stay dry for treatments, and lymphangitis, all with amazing results.
I’ve found the Game Ready to be an excellent tool in recovery for injuries, as well as helping older horses deal with the demands of work.
