A New Adventure
Molly ran a busy training business for 30 years in WA state; teaching and training horses and riders thru Grand Prix and into the CDI level. She recently moved to Arizona, and has reenvisioned her business. She has begun to build a lesson and clinic program as a therapy program that included sales of Equine Therapy International products, PEMF therapy with the PEMF Complete Mini 5, and the Activo Med Combi Pro II blanket.
Of course, seems horses who need PEMF are often in need of saddles as well, so Molly will also be available for fittings for JRD Saddlery Solutions.
Molly hopes a less demanding more flexible schedule will allow her more time to spend with her young horse, R U 4 Me. Molly calls him the “the most talented youngster I’ve had the pleasure of owning and his personality is hilarious.”
History & Background
Molly has been training and showing Dressage since the mid 80’s. Molly has competed locally, Regionally, and Nationally thru Grand Prix. Taking two horses to the Developing Horse National Championships that she trained from green broke.
Molly is one of a handful of riders earning all of her USDF Medals and Freestyle Bars, as well as an L Graduate with Distinction.
Molly is most well known for her ability to take an average moving horse thru the levels to the Grand Prix. Working with all breeds of horse including Appaloosa, Arabian, Fjord, Friesian, AQHA, Thoroughbred, Morgan, Hackney, and Warmblood.
Molly has developed a style taken from her vast experience working with numerous trainers and clinicians over the years. Kim vonHopffgarten, Gwen Blake, Pamela Nelson, David Blake, Jan Ebling, Lilo Fore, Janet Foy, Marina Genn, Heidi Gaian, Anne Gribbons, Scott Hassler, Sandra Hotz, Henrik Johansen , Ellen Mahaney, Pamela Nelson, Jurgen Olsen, Steffen Peters, Kathleen Raine, Gerd Reuter, Alexa Schulten-Baumer, Christophe Theallet, Walter Zettl.
Molly’s focus is a balanced rider is the key to clear communication with the horse. As well as working with vets and therapists to ensure the horse is comfortable. Molly’s keen eye and feel often detect injury before it becomes a long term rehab. Ensuring horses stay in work longer, with a better chance of moving thru the levels.
Molly works to ensure that each horse and riders needs are being met in all aspect of horsemanship. Nutrition, turnout, exercise, cross training, competition, health care, farrier, you name it. Molly is constantly working to educate herself on all aspects of horse care and management.

I came to ride with Molly per the recommendation of my veterinarian. He advised that from an anatomical and physiological standpoint, there are very few trainers that come close to Molly’s level of expertise. I came to appreciate Molly’s teaching style even more after moving out of state.
Now, having ridden with many different trainers from all over the world, I realize I actually got the most out of Molly’s lessons. I find many trainers yell the same things on repeat (“Rounder” “Outside Rein” etc). What resonated the most about Molly’s teaching style is her ability to help you understand why you are to do something, which further aids in your ability to know when to do something.
Molly holds no prejudice over your horses breed, age or level of training. Her knowledge of dressage is evident in her ability to take even non-traditional breeds (Hackeys, Appaloosas, Fjords and Quarter Horses) up the levels. Molly really goes above and beyond and spends countless unpaid hours assuring the welfare of your horses; handwalking, monitoring nutrition and ensuring overall wellbeing.

Thank you to Molly for all the support, guidance and hope for Rapael and I over the last year! It has been a tough year of "what ifs" and "I can't take it any mores" but Molly has stayed the course in her advice on Raphael, his talent and our partnership and that alone has given me great hope! Without Molly's friendship we wouldn't be the team we are today nor would I have the ribbons and awards to show for it.
